Common use

Dosage and direction

Capsules should be swallowed whole; do not crush or chew, but the contents may be sprinkled on soft food if swallowing is difficult.
Precautions
Inform your doctor if you have allergies to pork products (source of the enzyme), high blood uric acid, or history of fibrosing colonopathy. Monitor for signs of abdominal pain, constipation, or allergic reactions.
Contraindications
Do not use Creon if allergic to pancrelipase or any component of the capsule.
Possible side effect

Missed dose

Storage
Store Creon at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep capsules in the original container, tightly closed, and out of reach of children.
