Common use
Ocuflox is an antibiotic eye drop used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes, such as conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers. It works by stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria.

Dosage and direction
Apply Ocuflox directly into the affected eye(s) as prescribed, usually several times a day. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.

Precautions
Use Ocuflox only for bacterial eye infections—do not use it for viral or fungal eye conditions. Contact lenses should be removed before application and reinserted only after a doctor’s guidance.

Contraindications
Do not use if you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It is not recommended for patients with a history of hypersensitivity to similar drugs.

Possible side effect
Mild burning, stinging, or eye discomfort may occur after use. Rarely, serious allergic reactions, blurred vision, or swelling of the eyelids can develop.

Drug interaction
Since Ocuflox is a topical medication, systemic interactions are minimal, but inform your doctor about any other eye drops or medications you’re using.

Missed dose
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one—do not double the application.

Overdose
An overdose with Ocuflox is unlikely but may cause increased eye irritation. Rinse the eye with clean water and contact a healthcare provider if necessary.

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use and out of children’s reach.
