Common use
Voltaren Gel is a topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve joint pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis. It provides localized pain relief by targeting the source directly through the skin.

Dosage and direction
Apply a thin layer of Voltaren Gel to the affected area as directed, usually 2–4 times daily. Do not apply to open wounds, eyes, or mucous membranes.

Precautions
Avoid excessive sun exposure on the treated area and wash hands after application. Use with caution if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart disease, or kidney problems.

Contraindications
Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are allergic to Diclofenac, aspirin, or other NSAIDs. It should not be used during the last trimester of pregnancy.

Possible side effect
Common side effects include skin irritation, redness, or rash at the application site. Rare but serious effects may include allergic reactions or systemic absorption leading to NSAID-related side effects.

Drug interaction
Inform your doctor about all medications, especially other NSAIDs or blood thinners. Though topical, some systemic interaction is possible, particularly with extensive use.

Missed dose
If you forget to apply a dose, use it as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next one—never apply double amounts.

Overdose
Overuse may lead to systemic side effects like gastrointestinal discomfort or kidney issues. Seek medical help if you experience unusual symptoms after excessive application.

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Keep the cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
