Common use
Ziac is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It works by reducing fluid retention and lowering heart rate to ease the workload on the heart.

Dosage and direction
Take Ziac orally once daily, with or without food, exactly as prescribed. Try to take it at the same time each day for consistent blood pressure control.

Precautions
Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart conditions, asthma, or diabetes. This medication may cause dizziness, especially when standing up quickly.

Contraindications
Do not use Ziac if you are allergic to Bisoprolol, Hydrochlorothiazide, sulfa drugs, or beta-blockers. It is contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia, certain heart blockages, or anuria.

Possible side effect
Common side effects include fatigue, slow heartbeat, dizziness, and increased urination. In some cases, electrolyte imbalances or low blood pressure may occur.

Drug interaction
Tell your healthcare provider about all drugs you're taking, especially other blood pressure medications, diabetes treatments, or NSAIDs. Combining with certain drugs may increase the risk of side effects or reduce effectiveness.

Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's close to the next scheduled dose. Do not double up to make up for a missed one.

Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include extreme dizziness, fainting, or difficulty breathing. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.

Storage
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from moisture and heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
